In nature, a glowing octopus is a real thing. There are about three species of octopuses that are bioluminescent. So, they are kind of rare.
Metaphorically, a glowing octopus is me; a rare, strange creature that is just trying to shine some light in a dark world. If you have a past . . .a story. . . a testimony of God working in your life and now you are just trying to share that with other people, then you just might be a glowing octopus too!
If you are looking to feel seen, understood, and loved, first let me point you to Jesus. He knows you better than you know yourself. He knows your pain. He knows what it is like to be an outcast among His own people. He knows your past. He knows your sin. He knows it all. . . and He still loves you! He proved that on the cross when He died for your sins, offering Himself as a sacrifice so that He could offer you eternal life through Him.
The great thing about Jesus is that He doesn’t make you go through 28 steps to have a personal relationship with Him. He simply requires that you believe in Him, be willing to turn from your sin, and put your trust in Him.
